CC6 Cross Country League
Seven Sunday-morning cross-country races between September and March. Free to enter, open to every ability — and there is always cake at the finish.
What the league is
A friendly, low-key league organised by the running clubs of South Hampshire for their members. Courses are 4 to 5 miles (6.4–8km) off-road, held once a month on Sunday mornings between September and March, and they use similar locations to the RR10 summer league.
Races are free to enter for club members and this is the best introduction we have to competitive racing — the field covers every pace, and nobody finishes alone.
Races are not timed. A parkrun-style system records finishing positions: you are handed a token at the finish line, which is scanned along with your parkrun barcode.
Taking part
New runners register once via the CC6 app on the league website. After that there is no advance entry — just turn up on the day in your club shirt and run. Car sharing is arranged on the club WhatsApp group before each race.
All races start at 9:30am.
2026/27 fixtures
Seven races, all starting at 9:30am. We are one of the host clubs at Badger Farm in February, so we will need marshals as well as runners that day.
